Coming For Members Only!

Hi everyone! Well more like good evening from where I am. Apparently, lots is coming up pretty soon, so stay posted! In the meanwhile, read what new things await members!
Hello Penguins!
We saw how much you loved to dance and make music at Music Jam and we heard you loved the new member rooms – thanks for the great feedback!
We thought we’d let you know about some new things that are coming up just for members.
  • Make music at the Lighthouse: Starting today musical instruments will be available in the Lighthouse all the time, because we love to see you guys jam!

  • Design your igloo: We know how creative you are with your igloos and we wanted to give you more. If you liked the T-shirt builder in Penguin Style, you’re going to love the new Better Igloos catalog.

  • Spy Phone Updates: EPF Agents will face greater challenges to keep the island safe in August. You’ll receive new Field-Op orders with more Spy Phone games to test your skills. Plus you’ll be able to obtain brand new elite gear with your medals!

  • Earn Stamps: Stamps will be available for everyone, and we wanted to give members access to exclusive stamps and features. As a result, some of the harder levels in games will be made member only. The games that will be changing are Jet Pack Adventure, Catchin’ Waves, Thin Ice, Astro Barrier and Aqua Grabber. Don’t worry, everyone will still be able to play the first few levels.
Members play a big role in making Club Penguin better all the time and we wanted a way to say thanks.  We’re excited to hear what you think!
Now I don’t think that’s very fair changing the games so only members could do harder levels. That would be crossing the line in my opinion.. But that’s just me. What do you think? Comment below and let me know!

All Stamps Updated!

Hey, check it out! The stamps have been updating throughout the week, and now all the mystery spaces have been filled! Take a look below!

Hello Penguins!

Some of you have noticed that we’ve updated last Saturday’s Sneak Peek over the week. Here’s the last of those mystery images…

Lots of you sent in some great guesses about what you thought they might be. Corncand said:

These look like stamps or stickers! My guess is we will have an album to put them im every time we earn them and maybe we will have to do tasks to earn them anyway im excited!

Thanks Corncand! I couldn’t have said it better myself. Starting July 26, you’ll be able to earn and collect stamps!

Some of you commented that you think stamps are in games like Aqua Grabber. There’s a lot more to stamps than just playing games…  You’ll have to work together to earn many of them!!

You’ll get your own Stamp Book to put them in, and you can show off your collection to everyone.

We hope you’re excited – can’t wait to hear what you think.

Oh! So THAT’s what they’re for! Awesomeness! I wonder how many stamps there’ll be..?

Until next time,

New Club Penguin Wii Game to be Released!!

Awesome! Check it out! I found a post for a to be released Club Penguin Wii game! It’ll be called Club penguin Game Day! Check it out below! And here’s the link if you’d like to read it yourself!

BURBANK, Calif., Jun 10, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Disney Interactive Studios today announced Club Penguin Game Day! is being developed exclusively for Wii. Scheduled for release this September, Club Penguin Game Day! will mark the franchise’s video game console debut.

Based on the snow-covered virtual world that’s captivated millions around the globe, Club Penguin Game Day! will delve into the environment, characters and storylines of the online playground of Club Penguin like never before. The game will include innovative ways to connect with and new, interactive mini-games to challenge and engage the whole family.

“Club Penguin has always maintained a really strong emphasis on social, family fun and the value of working together,” said Lane Merrifield, co-founder of Club Penguin and executive vice president of Disney Online Studios. “Moving onto the Wii platform lets us offer parents a great opportunity to connect with their kids in the comfort of their own living room around an active game that’s participatory, cooperative and a lot of fun for everyone, and that’s something we’re really excited about.”

In Club Penguin Game Day!, players create and customize a penguin and compete in a variety of single or multiplayer sports-themed racing and performance events such as Java Sack, Fast Freeze, Sled & Slide and Sumo Smash. Each time players beat a challenge, they conquer a zone on the island. The ultimate goal is for players to work with their team and conquer as much territory as possible.

Club Penguin Game Day! will be the third video game in the franchise, following the recent release of Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert’s Revenge for Nintendo DS(TM). The highly anticipated sequel to the original DS game, Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force, which was released in 2008 and sold more than 1.5 million units worldwide, introduced intriguing new missions and mysteries for Elite Penguin Force agents.

“As the Club Penguin phenomenon continues to grow, it makes sense to bring the brand to Wii,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios.” Club Penguin Game Day! combines the distinct look and feel of the Club Penguin virtual world with competitive games that are easy to pick up and play using the Wii Remote.”

Club Penguin Game Day! will allow players to transfer their customized penguins via their Wii Remote(TM) to a friend’s Wii for use in gameplay. Once back on the original console, high scores, coins and customization items earned will merge with the player’s profile.

As with the two DS games, players can also upload coins earned in game to, but the new game will take the elements of online-offline connectivity even further by also allowing players to synchronize their in-game penguins and achievements with their online penguin accounts.

Awesome! It sounds cool to me. I think it would be a good family game. 🙂 I do not have a Wii, so I will not be able to buy it… But it’s okay. I can hold off on this one. The game is set to be released sometime in Fall 2010. I’m guessing August.

What do you think? Will it be a good game?

Sled Racing Update!

Screenhog has an update on Sled Racing! Read what he has to say!

Hi everyone, it’s Screenhog!

Friday is a big day for one of Club Penguin’s oldest games. Sled Racing, which is one of the five original games that has been around since Club Penguin launched, is getting some upgrades. First, starting Friday, you’ll be able to buy a toboggan and ride down the hill with it. This traditional sled will be available at the Ski Hill, and if you hold it while you enter the game, you’ll get to ride it!

Secondly, Sled Racing is finally getting something that most of the other games have always had… music. Have you ever noticed how much cooler games like Aqua Grabber, Catchin’ Waves, and Card-Jitsu are with music in the background? Well, tomorrow, Sled Racing is getting some pretty cool music in it too. Of course, if you’re the type of person who likes to have the sound off, the mute button in your Settings is still right there… it’s okay, we won’t be offended! 🙂

Now, here’s one last thing just for fun. Have you ever wanted to see a slow motion replay of the crash your penguin makes in Sled Racing.

LOL! It’s funny watching the penguin tumble and face plant in the snow. I can’t wait to see the upgrades for Sled Racing!

Until next time,

How to get the Emerald in Aqua Grabber!

After a long time of wondering how to get the emerald in Aqua Grabber, my friend Starclaw1 figured it out! First go to play Soda Sea and catch Fluffy. You can do so by getting the worm which is hidden in the cave at the left.

Hit the ceiling of the cave to make the worm fall down. It might take a few times.

Use the worm to catch Fluffy. The fish will thrash and try to get away from you, so make sure that doesn’t happen or he will get away and you’ll have to do it ALL over again! Bring Fluffy to the mullet, which is blocking an entrance in the cave on the right. He might break free of you and swim off, but the passage is no longer blocked.

Go down until you see a stash of coins and a crab trying to take them all. DON’T, repeat, DON’T take any coins. Let the crab take them. It might take a while.

When he’s done with the coins, he’ll look at you and offer you the emerald! How generous!

Now you know how to get the Emerald! Woo hoo!

Until next time,

Waddle on and discover more secrets!
